India and Africa on Wildlife conservation ...


HE Mr. Sibabrata Tripathi, Indian High Commissioner to Kenya and the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) Director, Mr. William Kiprono during a courtesy call discussed issues pertaining to wildlife conservation and management, exchanging ideas and joint efforts to strengthen ties between the two countries.

“The two countries share the same variety of wildlife species hence the need to work collaboratively together to address similar challenges they face such as wildlife crime, climate change, rising populations as well as the spread of invasive species”, the Indian High Commissioner said.

Number of Indian tourists visiting Kenya are on an increasing trend and Cricket is also a sport shared by both the countries with equal enthusiasm, further discussed Mr. Tripathi.
