Amongst famous saxophonists like John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Charlie Parker, Jimmy Dorsey, Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young & Kenny G., Sean Bergin was one of the famous South African born avant-garde jazz flautist who made is mark in South African Jazz and during the difficult times of Apartheid. Born in Durban, South Africa and later made Amsterdam, The Netherlands his home, today is his birthday, 29th June. Saddly, we lost him recently on Sept 01st, 2012.
